Venue

The Alhambra

The Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex located on a natural acropolis on the Iberian Peninsula overlooking the city of Granada in Spain's Andalusia region. The Alhambra Palace stand out as one of the most famous examples of Moorish architecture, and perhaps the most well known Muslim construction of all. The name Alhambra comes from the Arabic word that means "red" or "crimson castle." Created Originally for military purposes, the Alhambra was an "alcazaba" (fortress), an “alcázar” (place) and a small "medina" (city), all in one.

It was the residence of Muslim kings of Granada and their court, and also a renaissance palace during the Holy Roman Empire, thereby providing a unique mixture of architectural and decorating styles, marriage of the Mediterranean and Middle East. The greatest concern for the architects of the Alhambra was to cover every single space with decoration, no matter the size of the space, and no decorative element was enough.

The Moors left their greatest mark in the region of Andalusia. Here you will find a cuisine rich with examples of Arab culinary influence. Spices, ingredients, cooking techniques mingled to create a new cuisine. The Moors introduced the cultivation of rice, citrus fruits, peaches, bananas, and many Middle Eastern spices including cumin, aniseed, and sugar, which are used in Iberian cooking today.

The marriage of both Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines has developed through time-honored practice, patience, and tradition passed down from one generation to another. Food is a fundamental part of the regions's heritage and culture; the ingredients reflect their geography of their homeland while savoring the colors and accents of the aesthetic tastes of both the Mediterranean and Middle East. The cuisines are associated with many social events such as births, anniversaries, and weddings; the culinary traditions are intertwined with the region's history and religion.

While Alhambra Palace Restaurant is certainly not the original, the restaurant is quite an amazing sight to behold. Alhambra Palace is a complete departure from the usual paneled walls featured in other establishments. Alhambra Palace features high ceilings, mosaic tile floors, velvet drapes, and the most awe inspiring imported artwork. Alhambra Palace also features beautiful venue that can host intimate affairs to large-scale events of all sizes. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, a birthday, or hosting a corporate outing, the elaborate décor, entertainment, and creative food packages featured at Alhambra Palace are sure to enhance your event.

Leslie Grace: was born on January 7, 1995 in The Bronx, a borough of New York City. She was raised and attended school in Davie, Florida. Grace, born to Dominican parents, was entertaining her five older siblings and parents when she could barely speak, at the age of two. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. Her family gave her the confidence to trust in her talent and pursue success doing what she loves: writing and performing songs. She launched her professional career with her single, "Will U Still Love Me Tomorrow", a bilingual, bachata cover of the 1961 Shirelles hit, co-written by Carole King. Her version peaked at number one on both the Billboard Tropical Songs chart and Billboard Latin Airplay charts, becoming the youngest female artist to do so. Her self-titled second studio album, Leslie Grace (2013) reached number four on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, and number three on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart
